Area of research:

Dr. Jennifer Pham’s current research focuses on the development and evaluation of neuroprotective therapies, such as insulin, to preserve retinal ganglion cells in glaucoma. By employing a range of in vivo animal models, she investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying glaucomatous neurodegeneration, with the goal of identifying effective strategies for RGC protection. Her expertise lies in nanomedicine, with a particular emphasis on drug delivery systems and therapeutic development for glaucoma.
